Joshua Ke’Vonne Stewart, professionally known as Roman The Writer or Roman Svengali, is an alternative hip hop musician based in Dallas, Texas. Roman has found a unique way of using a wide array of instruments and genres to create diverse yet cohesive bodies of work exploring various themes such as identity, cockiness, love, frustration, heartbreak, and many more.

Roman’s earliest memories of music involve playing the keyboard alone in his room and in the band in church at around age 7 and writing raps at age 11. Since August of 2017, Roman has released a total of 10 complete projects: 5 EPs, 3 mixtapes, and 2 albums to various streaming platforms.
